Ashton Zaban, better known as AZ, is an upcoming 27-year-old West Indian artist from Mississauga, Ontario, who was born on September 4, 1994. He is very versatile and makes hip-hop and melodic music but is best known for his R&B.
AZ has been putting in the work as he’s been dropping back to back records since the beginning of the year. Records like “Forever”, “Jasmine”, and “Talk is Cheap” to name a few; as well as having “No Smoke” & “Clueless” debut on 6ixbuzz Premieres. (A well known media outlet in the city of Toronto)
Ashton just released his first EP last month titled “Island 6” A 6 track island themed tape that has caught many ears. His unique sound brings both Caribbean culture and mixes it with day to day Toronto living. The EP features hits many know like “Hold Me” & “Go Down”. AZ also features Toronto artist “Kairi” on his record “Nuh Easy”
Ashton Zaban started making music because it’s a way for him to express himself. AZ tries to portray positive messages through his music and talks about his life and mentions friends and family through his unique sound.
