FONZO POWER OF YOUR MIND

Tracy California-hailing hip hop artist, FONZO, has set an aspirational example with his latest single, ‘Power of Your Mind’. It’s the 2nd single release from his upcoming album‘High Gravity’. Instead of keeping his vision fixed on his success, he seeks to inspire others with his upraising approach to production and lyricism, and he succeeds.

His love for old school funk feeds into his friendly sound that he uses to speak out against crimes against humanity with. His debut single, For the Kids, was released as part of their ‘No More Kids in Cages’ Campaign.

His sophomore single speaks to anyone battling apathy while never diminishing the struggles anyone endures. With Yung Ricc’s energetic beats and the radio-ready polish that has become synonymous with DJ Loot’s mastering and mixing, Power of Your Mind is as adrenalizing as motivational hip hop gets.

Fonzo Said,

“I wanted to make a positive song to encourage people to follow their dreams. Life is full of decisions, and there are consequences to not living right. Also, I wanted to emphasize that anything is possible if we put our minds to it. We are all going through something, but we are all in this together.”

FONZO’s music may manifest as hip hop, but his passion for music stemmed from sharing a love of funk and oldies with his parents at a young age. He started to hone-in on his lyrical skills as a high school student as a freestyle rap artist; after building his own studio, he started making a serious effort to share his sound with those that needed to hear it.

The artist and producer signed his first digital distribution deal in late 2020. He later released ‘For the Kids’, the first single released from his forthcoming 18-track album, ‘High Gravity’.

After making his official debut, he embarked on an 8-show6-state tour in October across Colorado, Nebraska, Idaho, Utah, Wisconsin and Iowa before releasing his sophomore single ‘The Power of Your Mind’ in March 2021.
